  • Whwn my mom loaned me $23,000 several years ago I learned that the bank had to report it to the feds & that I needed to report it as income on my taxes. I was told that this Federal law was the result of efforts to follow drug money & money laundering.

  • I question the accuracy of the police report stating that clipping a highway divider damaged a tire which, the story implies, caused the van to go out of control, cross all the lanes & go over. When I see tire marks on those median dividers and guardrails I know they did their job.

  • I agree the kids need serious therapy. They've got no moral compass & are being trained by their parents to be 'grifters', liars, & cheats. I'll bet the youngest one has already been blamed by the parents & his brothers for their problems.

  • I totally agree, corruption of a minor & contributing to the delinquency of a minor are the 2 that come to mind. And these 'parents' absolutely must pay back ALL of the taxpayer dollars that we lost due to this hoax.

  • It's not sheer greed- it's refusing to expose themselves to supporting piracy. It would definitely be sheer greed if they did take our money to repair items they never manufactured or sold & then turn around and complain about piracy laws being violated.

  • "daring to fix the unit myself" is a direct violation of the terms of use that say the unit this is NOT to be altered. If Microsoft sold you a crappy hard drive then you could return the unit to where ever you bought it & get another one.

  • I think the type & level of exploitation is relative to the society in which it occurs. To the extent that these children each have trust funds I applaud the parent(s) who decided to ensure the children will have an education and/or some level of financial security.

  • I agree. Telling the Rabbi that he is sorry for how he emotionally hurt Kate, in itself, is not an apology to Kate. But then he had to justify his immaturity by blaming her for not meeting his expectations. For all intents and purposes Jon never apologized. I wonder of he understands that.

  • Jon violates a court order & steals the money needed & earmarked to pay the bills. He's bashing her & blaming her for the problems in their marriage, as though he had nothing to do with the creation of their relationship.
